TERMS AND CONDITONS 

Method of Cancellation/Rescheduling

In the event of a cancelled or rescheduled event, (MAKEUPBYKELLY.ANNE) requires a notification in writing Seven (7) days prior to the original event date. This is the only method of cancellation that will be accepted. The deposit is non-refundable after the Twenty-Four (24) hour grace period of the signed contract in any case of cancellation.

At any moment, if time permits, Makeupbykelly.Anne cancels at any time or is unable to preform her duties for any reason caused by Makeupbykelly.Anne, a full refund will be issued VIA original payment method or Bank transfer within two weeks of the informed date. The conduct and control of the work lies solely with Makeupbykelly.Anne.

Client Responsibilities

It is the Clients responsibility to provide a safe and adequate working environment for the Artist. The location must include:

  • Lots of natural or lamp lighting

  • Enough space

  • Outlets

  • Table for makeup and brushes

  • Enough chairs

  • Maintaining clear communication

MAKEUPBYKELLY.ANNE reserves the right to stop work or cancel this agreement at any time and retain any payment made by the “Client” if the Client and/or clients party are Aggressive, Abusive, Inhibited, under the influence of illicit substances or pose a risk due to infection or safety.

The Client is responsible for notifying the artist of any Infections, colds, flu’s or any other risks that might pose a danger to the artist or the artist belongings and/or equipment, tools and makeup.

In the instance that the artitist is notified of a infectious condition or the artists safety is compromised the service will be cancelled and no refund will be provided.

If the Artist’s belongings, tools, appliances, makeup, sponges or consumables are damaged due to no fault of the artist, an invoice will be sent to the client to replace damaged items at the Recomended retail price per item damage.

If the Client is Ten (10) Minutes late to the booked time a fee of Fifthteen Dollars ($15AUD) will be charged ontop of the service cost, After Ten (10) minutes a charge of Two Dollars ($2AUD) will be charged for every minute therafter untill the client arives ontop of the service cost.

Any bookings where the Client is Thirty (30) or more minutes late will be cancelled and no refund will be provided.

Hair Preparation

It is the client’s responsibility to arrive with clean, thoroughly washed, and completely dry hair, ideally washed the night before the event. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a final hairstyle that does not closely match the desired inspiration photo.

If the client’s hair is deemed too dirty or oily to work with, the service will not be performed, and any deposit paid for the hair styling will be forfeited.

Should the stylist need to dry your hair due to it being wet or damp upon arrival, a Fifteen Dollar ($15 AUD) blow-dry fee will be added to your total service cost.

Payments

A retainer fee of 30% is due at the time of booking; this payment is non-refundable after a grace period of Twenty-Four (24) hours of booking and must be paid in order to secure your event day. The remaining balance is required before the service commences on the event date, unless otherwise agreed upon. Payments can be made with credit card, bank transfer, Pay Id, Afterpay or cash.

A 2.2% surcharge applies to all card payments made via tap and go or contactless methods.

Travel

A mileage fee will be charged as follows:

0-20/km ($25)

21-59/km ($100)

60km+ ($variable)

Photography

Photos or videos may be taken for promotional use and advertising purposes online and printed material. Full credit will be given to any professional photos and videos taken by photographers and videograhers. Please advise artist if you do not consent to having your photo taken nor shared.

Third Parties Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties.
